Heat thy feet.
I was exchanging a few posts with friends Lisa and The Hezza this week about air-conditioning. Personally, I think it is one of the top inventions of all time, right up there with electricity, the single-cup coffeemaker and welted footwear. But this time of year, businesses and housemates overdo it. It’s freezing! I ate at the Whole Foods Grill one day last week, and even the bacon on my crab cake sandwich asked for a coat of aioli (thud).
What’s worse are tyrannical and pussified office policies that tell a person that heaters under the desk are ix-nay. Please. What kind of morale booster is that? You just know somebody from legal was playing footsie with HR when that policy got handed down.
Stylerant says screw ‘em, and presents this nifty under-the-desk warmer from plusminuszero. It’s red, it blows heat right up your skirt, and when Mrs. Grundy asks what’s under your desk, you can say it’s a hard drive full of assets that legal says are too sensitive for the network. Not that she’d know anything about hard drives or assets. Biddy.
